Dear Potential Supporter: The Plainfield 14u Twisters Columbia is a 14U full-time travel softball team consisting of only girls from Plainfield. We are part of a not-for-profit organization that promotes responsibility, respect, teamwork, leadership, dedication, hard-work, hustle and sportsmanship. The Twisters’ preparation has begun for the 2011 season. The girls will play games in Plainfield at 4 Season’s in the fall of 2010 and spring of 2011 in addition to traveling to several tournaments around the Plainfield/Chicagoland area and will play 50 - 60 games. Our team emphasis will be: • To have fun playing Softball • To teach fundamental softball skills. • Increase Self-Esteem for the players • To teach respect for the game, self, parents, teammates, coaches, opponents, and officials. • To teach good sportsmanship whether we win or lose. This is where you, the members of our community, come in. The Twisters are reaching out to you for help in offsetting some of the costs of our upcoming season. Any and all donations are welcome.
